Just to let you know that Hera will be upgraded tonight at 3AM GMT to upgrade the kernel. There should only be a few minutes of downtime and we will make sure that all VPS’s come back online correctly.

We’ve been working on a big project in the last few weeks to integrate our server management pages into our current client area and we’ve nearly completed development! Just a quick update, we now have ns2.thesimplehost.net set up as a backup mail server as well, you may notice that under MX records in cPanel you will see ns2.thesimplehost.net with an MX value of 100 – do not worry about this, but if you wish to receive your mail externally, you should remove this entry.

We are slowly migrating from Installatron to Softaculous, both are great auto-installation scripts but with the larger number of scripts we believe Softaculous would be more beneficial to our users.

Installatron will continue to work for another few months before it is completely removed – none of your scripts will be remove when this is complete.
