You may have noticed our website and client area were unavailable for 3 hours today – this was due to us moving our website onto a new server. We had a small issue with our SSL certificate, which has since been resolved meaning everything is 100% up and running.

In case you were wondering, no client accounts were affected by todays migration.

Following the scheduled domain price increase from Verisign, we have been forced to increase our domain name prices from £5.99 to £7 per year. This means that all future and current domain names that you may have registered with us will have their price increased.

 

I can announce that we will still be offering a free .com or .net domain name with selected web hosting packages – these packages have not had a price increase, however.

 

I do apologise for this and I hope you understand that it is out of our control – we will however continue to monitor the domain prices and alter our offerings accordingly.


Our dedicated server product line has recently been updated with higher specification machines. We now offer 24 core servers starting at £240/month. We have also discontinued BUS6 for the foreseeable future. The two new servers (replacing BUS4 & BUS5) can be found on our dedicated server page.

 

We have also introduced server upgrades on a per-server basis, meaning if you need more space or an extra stick of RAM, you can! Whilst we have a short list of upgrades on our dedicated server page, you can contact us regarding specific upgrades.

Just a quick note to inform you that we will be performing a reboot to Eros at 12AM UTC to complete a server update which was carried out today. All VPSs on this server will be powered down and back up again after the reboot has completed.

We have just completed the upgrade of WHMCS to the latest stable version. Although we have checked the vast majority of the client area, you may discover some issues which you should contact us about so we are able to rectify them.
